Our History
Keith Dowd, the owner of Native Construction, is a builder, developer, and real estate agent. His career in the industry began as a licensed electrician after purchasing his first home, where he quickly discovered a passion for building and improving homes.
Alongside his father, Gary, Keith began flipping houses throughout Nashville, gaining hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the local market. Over the past two decades, he has continued to build and develop homes throughout some of Nashville’s most established and sought-after neighborhoods, including Sylvan Park, Green Hills, and 12 South.
Today, Keith continues to work with his father, Gary, carrying on the family tradition that helped launch Native Construction. When his daughter, Elle, is home from college, she also joins the team, making the business a three-generation family effort.
Keith brings decades of experience, a hands-on approach, and a deep connection to Nashville to every project he takes on. His work is rooted in a commitment to quality, long-term relationships, and creating homes and communities that stand the test of time.
